Dear Experts,
Myself is a Chartered Accountant and need your valuable opinion on the subject.
Actually I had purchased some gifts online i.e.basket of fruits for my inlaws from one online retail agency. As per terms and condition "if item shown in the webisite will be not available than they will supply some similar/superior quality product"
However in actual they had supplied very lower grade produts that too are not fresh. Further to this packing of gift was not at all aceptable. When I had pointed these to the company they are not ready to listen anything.
I have photograps of the gift as well screen shot of website.
Please advise what all remedies I am having to teach a good lesson to these fraud compinies.

If you just want to give good lesson then post your full details with photo to some websites where you can write complains to more know search on google as "consumer complain" company will loose their reputation as many are searching before purchasing through websites. Secondly if you want compensation then go to "consumer forum" court you can claim without help of lawyer as per your choice

The Practical solution would be First be happy it is Not Very Expensive to Your Level.Better Avoid On Line Purchases Practically If the Money has to be Paid in Advance with out Confirming the Quality by Seeing the Same.Take it as Lesson and advise your Friends and Relatives. You would be wasting Much of your Time,Money and Energy Once you decide on taking Legal Actions. They could easily Succeed since the Products are Perishable Too.If you are regularly reading News Papers you would have seen Government Not willing to take action against such On Line People. If at all you wish to Teach a Lesson Preach about them and their Quality in relevant web Sites

If you are aggrieved by their trade practice you can file case in consumer forum but the same is not teaching any lesson.
