This query is : Resolved
I am living in a registered housing society and the society has passed a rule that children are not allowed to play cricket with tennis ball, basket ball and similar games where a ball is used. The only facility provided by the society is for playing badminton.
Now children are so used to watching Tv that we need to send them out for playing outdoor games so as to increase their physical activity but as per rules of the society we have to keep our children indoor most of the time as they cannot play outdoor games except for Badminton.
Pl apprise me about my rights in this case.

1) whether any resolution was passed in Managing committee meeting or AGM ?
2)if the resolution has been passsed in Managing Committee meeting you can in the AGM raise this issue and request members to set aside resolution .
3)society cannot debar members children from playing in society premises . at most society can law down some restrictions tht if on account of playing cricket etc if any loss is caused to society property the member concerned shall pay damages .
4) in case rule is passed in AGM you can address a complaint to registrar of Societies of complaining about the said resolution .
5) in the alternative you cna move the cooperative court for necessary reliefs
