Dear Sir,
In our company we are collecting Rs.10 each from every employee as per the union people request and we have formed one Employee death and relief Fund in that collecting amount we are deposit in that Fund A/c. Any employee died or major injuring we have to pay in that collecting amount. Now that union people now asking same equal contribution from the company.
Whether there is a law for this type transactions ?
Whether the company may be paid any to that Labour welfare fund ? in future any problems arise in this issue?
Sir, what is the law for this ?
Sir, I want legal opinion

It is a part of Protected Negotiation, and mutual Agreement. Usually it works.
Should join such Scheme, and co-operate.
Law covers such agreement and is binding.

Legally such demand cannot be got enforced unless the union is recognized by the management and the welfare fund is established with its consent.
Voluntary contributions should always be made by managements the aim of which should be ultimate welfare of workman.
