Hi Sir,
Please advise the right steps which i can take as one of the tenants in my building does the commercial activity in the parking area and denies to stop the same even after so many requests.
I am living in another apartment in the same building and have faced losses as the 2 of my bicycles are being stolen.
I would like to legally file a complaint. Please advise.
Regards
Bharti

sir... in a building i live on the 3rd floor and there is another family resides on the 4th floor. this family is running a business and most of the time they utilizes the parking area of the building as godown to cover their activities. a lot of labour resources come and go in a day through and i face a little discomfort from safety point of view as i am all alone the whole day with my bed ridden mother in law...
i also suffered a loss of 2 bicylcles of my kids while their labour was in the parking and packing/ unpacking the stuff of the business.
Even after multiple requests they still uses the area.
request you to suggest appropriate way to file a complaint legally on this matter.
regards
Bharti

You can make a police complaint about the disurbanes caused and request to stop the activity.

Did you not place this in the General Body meeting of the Society? You have to file a complaint against the party who is disturbing you to the Registrar/Joint Registrar of the Cooperative Societies and make a copy to the Police Station concerned.

A resident cannot be permitted to carry out commercial activities in the residential area.
You can make a complaint to the association in this regard and demand his intervention and stop all such activities which is not only against law but also is a menace as well harmful or precarious to the members of the society for the obvious reasons namely nuisance and thefts etc.
If the society is not taking any steps to curb such practices, you may approach local civic body with a complaint about this illegal activity to take proper legal action
