Can the dependents of govt. Servent will claim for compassionate appointment whose both parents are the govt. Servent at the time of the demise of anyone of them please clarify? If yes then give citations

The answer is straight NO. For only in cases wherethe Govt. servant dies and the family does not have any income, the question of grant of compassionate appointment comes. Not otherwise. In those cases the compassion is to be first within the family.

Harness of the family of deceased employee is the sole consideration which generally is not found these days because full salary is provided to the family till the actual date of superannuation of such deceased employee in the same way as if he is alive.
