Contempt of court

(Querist) 17 May 2013 This query is : Resolved 
if in a case the lawyer of opposite party X commits an offence of contempt.then can y being the lawyer opposite to X pleade to court to first decide the matter of contempt committed by X and then hear the case for which X and Y are pleading in court?

depends on discretion of court.u cannot force

court to do it.
