can a lawyer be the head of an NGO/private owned legal institution/trust as sole trustee

NGo/Private trust are no profit no loss orgniastion,It is nt a business. they are ment for the public serive, so in my opinion lawyer can be the head.
We are running one NGO my friend is the president of that NGO.

Yes, Lawyer/Advocate can be head of an NGO/Private own legal institions.There is no bar by any law.

Heading an NGO doesnt mean that the person is in employment and it is a non profit activity for the benefit of society, which isnt barred by the Advocates Act 1961. so an Advocate can very well be a head of an NGO.
