Criminal case can be filed for misplacement of file/documents

(Querist) 19 February 2013 This query is : Resolved
Sir,
I have file civil case for enforcement of certain rights before Civil court which issue summons for the production of dcouments. The documents were very crucial but Public authority has delibarely misplaced or concealed the documents which were nevwer been produced before court

The court finally gave verdict/order " Since documents were not produced before us despite of giving several opportunities we have no option left except to decide the matter on the basis of pleadings before us"

The decison what ever goes in favor or against but misplacemt of documents during court proceedings is an offence which cannot be done by top echelons of organisation

In the lieu of above whether separate criminal proceedings can be initaed before M.M/JMIC OF THE CRIMINAL COURT? AND WHAT SECTIONS..?... Please guide in thsi regard

Only departmental complaint can be made and if agitated before high court, criminal action can be soght against all such public officers who had been assigned the duty to preserve such vital documents under their custody.

I do not see any criminal offence out of kissing of such documents.
