kindly inform me about the debt recovary tribunal proccedure (DRT) for a pesonal loan of 15 lakhs .only pdc given No colataral security given and 14 emi paid.furher emi not paid due to finacial crunch.

An application with all facts and relevant documents is to be moved like a petition before the DRT and after its acceptance, the notice to the opposite party shall be issued and after taking his version supported with relevant documents, the case shall be decided accordingly.

DRT PROCEEDING ARE AS GOOD AS CIVIL RECOVERY SUIT,IN DRT PROCEEDING ARE SUMMARY PROCEDURE AND SPEEDY DISPOSAL ARE REQUIRED. AS CIVIL SUIT THERE IS NO PROVISION OF STRICT PROOF IS NECESSARY.
