sir, I purchased an immovable propery in 2000. There was an inadvertent mistake in the street name in which the property is situated. No body has raised any question on this. But still I want to get it corrected, otherwise the document is in order in other respects. It can't be correctedw with a rectification deed since the party who sold it is untraceable. At this juncture, is it sufficient to register a declaration deed? If so will I get approval for the property from the local authority?

There is no problem with the description of boundaries. The road side description is " North by 30 feet road". Any street name is not mentioned.
