Why was the POTA repealed ?

There are many reasons for repealing POTA but basically because of weak political will and for reasons best known to the the ruling party the act was repealed.

POTA polticians are always much worred about their vote banks, they are neither worried nor in favour of the develpment of the courntry, their aim is to get the vote at any cost even they are ready to sell our country. At any cost they want to win in the election so they need vote, to get this vote they do whatever they want. For the benefit of only one person pOTA is repealed.
