For marking of documents you have to lead in evidences and get the same marked and then it becomes a marked document. In the case of documents, which both parties agree to the contents and have no objection, then it is termed as an admitted document.

Documents produced before court.:- It includes all the documents filed by the parties or witness or documents collected by the court.
Relevant Documnt:- Out or first catagory documents those documents which are necessary and relevant to solve dispute are called relevant document.
Documents Placed on record :- Out of Relevant Documents those admissible in evidence are taken by The called 'document placed on record' (generally document which are not foto copy or not unstamped or admissible as per evidence act come in this category)
Exhibited Document :- Out of documents placed on record if the documents is proved or disproved it is marked with a serial number. This serial numbered document is called 'Exhibited Document'
Out of Exhibited Documents there are further 3 categories
