Discrepancy in land area shown in patta

Dear Expert,
I have inherited a piece of land from my deceased sister in Tamil Nadu. the Original Sale deed as well as the transfer deed shows the area of the land as 1744 sq ft. There is a house built on this land after proper survey was done by the Tahsildar, and building plans approval by the Panchayat.
The Field Measurement Book records also show this land to be 1744 sq ft.
However the Patta shows the measurement as 1600 sq ft. I didn't notice the discrepance earlier since the patta figures are given in hectares,
How can I get the patta discrepancy corrected?

You can submit an application requesting the Tahsildar concerned to rectify the measurements in the Patta as per FMB and panchayat plan approval copy.
