Hi me and my souse were married in India , lived in uae and I travelled to USA for work and she abdanoned from uae with my child .
I have no idea where she is and her parents say we don�t know either !
It�s been over 2 years now and I found out she went to India as I checked immigration from uae .
Now being a non Indian citizen now ( earlier I was Indian pp holder)
Can I get divorce if I file from overseas? And since I don�t know her address where do I send the notices?

You may file divorce case in the foreign country you are now based provided their family court has jurisdiction to entertain your such divorce petition.

Otherwise you may file divorce petition in India in the district where you got married or where you both last resided or where your wife was or is supposed to be presently living.

As far service of court summons to her is concerned that you can do with her last known address in India or/& through her parents' address.

I can�t visit India as I have some issues here pending , can u help me on this ? And does it include any newspaper ads etc?
And notice to last known uae address also?
And is it best to file thru family court here?
