Hello,
i am separated for the past 5 yrs , i have filed for divorce 3 yrs ago, until now the no judge has been assigned for this case.i am just getting dates for hearing, i would like to move on with my life, i am in different city now, can i live with a live in partner. what are the implications , i dont intend to marry , i have found a like minded person to live with. What are the legal consequences.

its strange to know that no judge has been hearing your case for the last 3 years, its a utter failure of judicial system, why dont you make a complaint to the High Court.
u may continue with live in relationship, but dont leave any mark which could implicate you for the offence of adultery.....since u r divorce proceedings are still pending thus u r still married........better not to tell abt ur new relationship with anyone connected with your case.

If you live with a live in partner before getting divorce, then it would amounts to adultery under Sec 497 of IPC.
