Sir, the police are not arresting the accused and are eager to close the case on the ground that no documentary evidence proving transfer of the immovable property is available. So, is sale deed a must for making case u/s 420 IPC? Please guide. Its an urgent matter so don't dismiss is as an "academic query".
In case of transfer of immovable property, there must a registered Deed, which can be availed by anybody from the Sub-Registrar Office. Get the Sale Deed from Sub-registrar office and produce the same to the police.
If you have filed a Private Complaint before the Magistrate, you can always challenge the "B" Report.
