Hello,
FIR has been lodged U/s. 498A, 323, 377, 506 IPC and 3,4 DP Act in UP.
I consulted a lawyer situated at Allahabad HC he suggested me to go for Writ Petition for quashing FIR. As per my limited understanding, I believe quashing petition is filed U/s. 482 CrPC.
Kindly throw some light.
Which writ shall lie? Certiorary/Prohibition?
Can anyone supply me with the Format/Draft of Quashing Petition in Allahabad HC?

Your advocate has meant the Crl.O.P under section 482 cr.p.c. as writ to explain you in a plain language. Why do you worry about the format, if you have engaged an advocate he/she will take care of the format as well as the pleadings of such petitions, if you desire to appear as party in person, then you may engage the services of a lawyer outside court for this purpose, get them drafted and proceed with your intended case.
