Any person aggrieved by order made by district forum may prefer an appeal against such order to state commission with in the period of thirty days from the date of the order.

From your query it seems that you have moved an application under Order 9 Rule 7 of CPC. On the date fixed you need to tell the appropriate reason of absence on last date of hearing. If forum rejects your application, then you can appeal before state forum within 30 days of such order.

As per Consumer Protection Act, the provisions of CPC are applicable. So you may file an application u/o 9 rule 7 of CPC.
