Dear Sir,
We have a tempo traveller which is more than18 years. Recently, when we approached the RTO for renewal of fitness certificate, we were told that vehicles which are more than 15 years will not be allowed for use and should be scrapped as per Govt guidelines. We asked for the notification but they said we have not received any notification from the Govt.
May I request to have a shared file of draft notification so that we can make a decision at our board meeting for further process for scrapping the vehicle or can we apply for renewal with any exceptions as we are working among physically challenged and the vehicle is used for them only.
And also request to help us with the process of scrapping the vehicles if necessary.
Thanking you in advance.

Dear Sir,
If no circular or notification is shared by the concerned department then you may file applications before different concerned departments and its ministries under the provisions of Right to Information Act then you will come to know the actual fact and accordingly you may take an action either to scrap the vehicle or not.
