Dear sir,
What is punishment for a Govt official who encorages (By not doing a proper field inspection)entroling of bogus members in Electoral voter list?

Enrollment is made based on some proof or evidences submitted by the applicant. One needs to establish this grass root fact first.

It id very serious and heinous crime of fabrication of public records in IPC.

Thank u sir. This is a serious problem. Some officials help them for retaining in the list though we gave the Form 7 for deletion of their names from the list. But they didnt do so.. i want to know whether they (officials) can be punished by Representation of peoples act?

No provisions under Representation of People's Act.

I agree with Mr. Ramchandran in this regard. However, you can seek this remedy in writ direction to Election Commissioner to take appropriate action against these officials.

It is not easy now as you are making out , since names without photos are being deleted as a rule.
