can a father file a cheque bouncing case against accused on behalf of his daughter, since the daughter is out of india,, but the account is joint account in father and daughter name. can a father sign the vakalath on behalf of daughter. since the cheque and the memo of understanding in the daughter name?????????please i request the learned members to guide me to proceed with my case

Yes the father as the constituted attorney ca file such case but at the time of evidence the daughter will have to come to depose before the court of law.

Yes as Constituent Attorney and having knowledge, acquaintance and conversant with the facts of the case you can file the case and also depose before the court. At the time of evidence you can file evidence on behalf of your your daughter and she has to come if court direct so.

The agent can file the complaint but the principal has to appear to give evidence since the agent cannot depose on behalf of the principal as per the view of the supreme court of indis.
