rental flat

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 20 June 2011 This query is : Resolved
I took a flat on rent and found that there are several issues with the flat when I complained to owner he simply denied to fix the issues. Rather because of heated up matter he wrote me a mail to vacate the place in a month.
My question is it is not even a month I occupied the flat with signed agreement and now owner is asking me to vacat the place.
What can I do? I feel is it a kind of harassment how can a person tell me vacate the place just within a month of occupation.

If you do not wish to vacate the flat then you may not do that.
To evict you the landlord need to file suit for eviction and need to prove the grounds of eviction as well.

you are lawful occupant in the flat. if the landlord harass you you can lodge complaint tp the police as well as can file a civil suit against the landlord i the court for stopping such harassment.
