What is exact name called after amendment ed of said Act.? Its call As ICAI OR ICMAI Act 1959.
If ICWAI Question Against to eliminate name Chartered form ICAI. its valid? I again little confuse Abt What name called ICWAI OR ICAI OR ICAMI

My reply is 100% right.
Author mentioned '1959', which relates to icwai and recently amendment in ICWAI to ICMAI.

In fact the earlier name of "Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India (ICWAI)" was later on changed to "Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of India (ICMAI)." BUT still, the same is again being proposed to be changed through ICWAI Amendment Bill to adopt the name as "Institute of Cost Accountants of India."
Of course after the bill, if passed as proposed, there would definitely be a dispute between the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and the proposed Institute of Cost Accountants of India, for the usage of the abbreviated name (ICAI). So, the ICMAI has already represented the Government to drop the name of "Chartered" from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. That seems the concern of the querist.
With particular reference to this question, ICMAI is definitely not about the "International Conference on Management and Artificial Intelligence", as has been presumed by Mr. Prabhakar Singh.
Since the confusion seems to have arisen only due to the brevity of the question on the part of the querist, the experts may probably not remain in dark now.
