Dear All,
thanks for your continuous support to people like me.
i stay in a chawl in mumbai eastern suburbs
i want to know about the rules of redevelopment of chawls in suburbs according to latest DCR rules.
if in a plot of 10000sq ft there are 40 tenants with ground plus 1 structures few commercials and residentials and total occupying area about 15000 sq ft if calculated ground plus 1 both. then if this plot has to be redeveloped by any builder.
according to latest DCR rule he will get an FSI of 1:1 i.e. he can built 20000sqft carpet area plus he can make 15000 sqft area for settling the tenants.
please correct me if i am wrong with the same example and also explain if TDR comes into the picture . kindly consider the height restriction in this area like its in powai area so is their any height restriction.
