Accidently car window broken.

Dear Sir ,

we live in a apartment. we hired a labour to paint our room. however when the labour opened the window and started cleaning the window a stone accidently felled down from the window and broke the window of the CAR parked on the basement.

Now the owner of the car is now claiming from us the cost of window.

Kindly advise me what should i do with relevant provision as to if law is in my favour or not.

you should pay the replacement charges of car window . it arose because of your labour negligence

In spite of resorting to the litigation better amicably settle the matter. The loss occurred due to the negligent act of labor employed by you.

There is no point in indulging into litigations for every thing in life. Settle the matter amicably with the owner of the car.

You were expected to be vigil while performing your cleaning work and if the same has been violated, you shall have to meet out the cost of replacement of the window of the damaged car.
