Kindly guide how an ALL INDIA ASSOCIATION OF HINDI TRANSLATORS working under different departments of Central Govt. can be formed.

The members of the proposed association are working and residing at different places in India and serving the Central Govt. of India.
In light of these conditions, kindly elaborate if you please.

It does not matter. Where ever they reside in india, they can form association and can be registered under society registration Act. But the Office should be at only one place.

1. While still on duty (as Govt. Servants), Govt. Servant/ are not entitled to form any sort of Association of whatever. Check out the Code of Conduct for such Govt. Servants.

I completely agree with Hemanth.
You have not mentioned in your query whether you are existing govt employee or retired. If you are retired, you can form Association.

This can be formed as a trade union and get it registered. However before that one has to do lot of ground work to gather the information about such persons, their details, places of work, their willingness, mobilisation of their consent to join the registered union and lot of other related activities. First of all gather like minded people within your circle, discuss with them your proposal, form an idea of what is to be done on such ideology and then decide further course of action.

I am sorry .
I am disagreeing with all above views in one way or the other and I express my views as under :-
(I) service Govt employees certainly do have right to form Service Association.
(II) Such right is governed by RSA Rules.
(III) The members should be from same employer.
(IV) different similar Associations of different cadres can form Confederation.
