Legal heir certificate

My father passed away recently. He got divorced from his first wife thro court. She got divorced without any issues. My mother is second wife. While applying for heir certificate, should v produce death certificate if she is dead? Pls advice

Not reqd.his first wife is not the legal heir but the children of your father through the first marriage are legal heirs .

You have posted about first wife that "She got divorced without any issues".

You may attach copy of decree of divorce (hope you have the certified copy) and that no issues from divorced wife, if required.
