The Chit fund Company is No way responsible for the dealings of your father with " another person".Better Negotiate with the Chit company and Go for One time settlement for the Dues of your Father and Yours.Better take the help of Local VIPs to Recover the money from the Person to whom your father had helped as you have no Evidence for the transaction.

Agreed with expert Mr.N.J.S.Rajkumar that you may involve elders, influential persons and settle the matter amicably with the person for whom your father borrowed.
Without explicit consent signed by you, the Chit Fund company should not have deducted from you.
Per documents signed by your father the lender can stake claim on estate of your father.
Try to resolve the whole matter amicably.
Your own counsel can guide you further based on facts and records.

were you a guarantor to the loan or have you signed any document regarding accepting liability of your father?
Have you inherited estate of your father?
If not, you are not liable to pay the loan of the deceased legally.
inform the company accordingly.

If the company try to recover the amount from you, discuss with lawyer and get stay from court, ask for refund / interest / compensation from company if already recovered.

The company should have provided you detailed communication than deducting without any intimation.
If matter is not getting resolved amicably, discuss with your counsel.

Morally you have inherited the estate of your father, you should pay his liability also.
If want to move legally, show all documents to your lawyer and discuss in detail.
