SIR,
As we all know DOEACC Society is implementing a joint Scheme of All India Council for Technical Education and Department of Information Technology (formerly Department of Electronics (DOE)), Government of India. The Society was formed on the 9th November 1994 and is registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The management and administration of the Society is overseen by Governing Council, under the chairmanship of the Minister of State, Communications & Information Technology, Government of India. Members of the Council consist of eminent academia from IITs, Universities, etc. and professionals from the industry.
There are four Level in DOEACC.
DOEACC O level (DCA equivalent)
DOEACC A Level (Advance Diploma)
DOEACC B Level (MCA Level)
DOEACC C Level (M.Tech Level yet waiting for recognization)
The entry requirement for M.Tech(IT) are M.Sc(IT)/MCA/B.Tech(IT) or equivalent. This means that for M.Tech(IT) a person should have either 3 years Master degree followed by three years graduate degree IT or four year degree in IT followed by 10+2.
If DOEACC B Level is followed by three years degree then DOEACC B Level takes 3 years. So it fulfill the criteria for admission to M.Tech(IT).
If someone pass O+A+B Level it will take 4 years as such it become equivalent to 4 years degree in IT followed by 10+2 which also fulfill the criteria for admission to M.Tech(IT).
Any four years degree in IT followed by 10+2 is equivalent to MCA. This implies that B.Tech(IT) is equivalent to MCA since B.Tech is 4 years degree in IT followed by 10+2. Similarly, O+A+B level is 4 years degree in IT followed by 10+2 that means it is also equivalent to MCA.
Am I correct or wrong?
