Khaleel Ahmed Mohammed (Expert) 28 December 2010
The employer won't releave you.
It is depended upon your service agreement.
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 28 December 2010
The compnay can not hold your money in PF account. If you are liable to any damages for not sering the notice period then the copany may seek any redress prescribed by law but not your PF.

YOUR P.F CAN NOT BE STOPED. HOWEVER THE COMPANY HAVE OTHER REMIDIES AGAINST YOU.

The experts have opined rightly.
For making final withdrawal of PF contb'n, the signature of your employer is required but if you are facing problem in getting the same your signature in the application can be attested by tyour bankers also. Hence, there is no problem, you can fillup the form basing on last PF Slip available with you..

Dear Mr. Santosh,
In my opinion, though the employer can not with hold the P,F.but itis always advisable to leave the job in acordial atmosphere as employer may not attest your claim form initially. In case u get it attested from ur banker or other prescribed authority, employer will trouble u for some time to send your returns and u will have to wait for claiming the entire amount as P.F. authority will settle the claim upto the amount recd. in ur account i.e not uptodate amount and u will have to wait upto the submission of all retuns by the employer beside deposition of contribution upto the last date of ur service.
