Eligibility to buy agricultural land

Hi, I am from Bangalore. I want to buy an agriculture Land. My Grand Parents where owing agriculture land , they made a will in my father and his brothers name but that land is in dispute ,both of them have not registered the land .The land was taken care by my grand parents relatives, The dispute is between my father and the relative and the case is in court.
Is there possible for me to buy agriculture land, if so, please let me know the Procedure and documents required to buy the Land.

1 You are from agriculturists family - I think there is no prohibition to purchase Agricultural land ( subject to Local revenue Laws )
2 Whether you want to purchase the Disputed land subject matter of the suit referred by you - if so first get the matter settled in Compromise and purchase the said Suit land from all the parties to the suit - and get a Regd Deed executed and Registered in your name - and you also can get the compromise recorded in the suit proceedings and let all the parties and admit and record that your are purchasing the property as per the terms of compromise to put an end to the litigation !

To purchase the Agri lands You have to First verify the Revenue Records and all other Registered Deeds if any and encumbrances if any over the lands and and purchase through Registered sale deed and get the lands mutated in your name-after the Regd sale deed .
However the Local Revenue Law/s to be verified - you may contact any of your local Advocates in this regard to have more clarity on local Revenue Laws!

Thanks for the reply, as mentioned it is not the disputed land I am buying, I am planning to buy new land which as mango trees .
My annual income is more than 2 lakhs from non agriculture source.
Though I come from agriculturist family (as mentioned in previous query) will I be able to buy this land?
Please let me know the options how I can buy this land.

I am from AP - the Local Revenue laws are to prohibit - or- not to prohibit the purchase - You have to verify with the Local Revenue side Advocate of Your area, to get a clear clarification, about, is there any prohibition under Your Local Revenue Laws ?
