Is it mandatory to file a vakalat along with the private complaint.

At the time of filing complaint, the complainant can engage the advocate the vacalatnama of whom is to be filed with the complaint itself.

It is not necessary to have an advocate at the time of filing the complaint or any case, you can file voluntarily if know the procedures and technics of conduct the case.

infect no need of a lawyer for filing the complaint case, but when the supporting affidevit will enclose with the complaint then who will identify that? so, it is nessesury engage a lawyer on the time of filing the case!

It is not mandatory to engage an advocate in a criminal case. A person not having a law degree can defend himself in a criminal case trial in a lower court with the permission of the court.

If you know law mean, Before court of law appointment of advocate is not mandatory in any stage of your case.. You can proceed your case as IN PERSON. Not only before magistrate court.. Even before supreme court of india you can appear as in person.

Theoritically you don't need the services of an advocate at all. Practically, if you are not well versed with the procedures of the court, you must engage an experienced lawyer even for prosecution of a private complaint. If you engages an advocate for your case, it is mandatory that you file Vakalatnama in his favour to authorise him to appear and plead your case.
