Ancestral Property

Sir,

Please specify what kind of ancestral properties can be Willed? The property is situated in Delhi and given to refugees of East Pakistan. Kindly refer citations please.

The owner can include and bequeath any number and type of movable or immovable properties belonging to him in the Will.

If the property is given with absolute rights i.e if the owner is absolute owner without any restrictions from the Govt., then it becomes his self acquired property of the person to whom it was granted. he can bequeath the said property by will. Assuming that it is ancestral property, even then a person can make a will of his undivided share.
