Respected Sir,
My friend name is M Suresh Kumar, his fore father's were Indian Christians and having all Certificates and Passport,Driving License, Voter ID, etc his father name is as Christian Name i.e John but his parents kept my friend name as "Suresh Kumar"
Now my friend wanted to change his name i.e., from "Suresh Kumar" to "Marc Rich".
My friend applied for Name Change Annexure-II Certificate from Mandal Revenue Officer, for the purpose of Gazzatte Publication, MRO rejected, MRO informed to him that he have no right to change Complete Name, only he have righ to change only corrections in the Names.
Kindly advise
what is the procedure for change of name

If you to change your name in the documents and school records then you will have to file a suit for mandatory injunction against the STate Govt., and Deputy Director of public instructions by giving notice u/s 80 of CPC.
