Employer harassment

Hi

Iam working as a manager in a Leading BPO in India.I want to know if an employer is permitted to listen to private telephone conversations of an employee and observing movements of an employee out of office hours.

you may complaint your higher officials, or complaint women harassment act to police station.

employer is only concerned that employee does not during working hours waste time in idle gossip and concentrates on work . he cannot keep tabs on movement of employee after office hours

It is an illegal act of if employer observing movements of an employee after duty hours. Employer cannot to do so , doing so amounts interference in the personal life. Inform the same to the higher officer

hai. observing movements of an employee, after office hours, other than enlisted organisations like cbi, police, defence etc, it is an offence against the liberty. so u can complain to higher ups or to police and then court of law with private complaint.

Principally I have similar views of other experts but I do one thing that if any employer smells any foul behaviour of his employee affecting his office working directly and indirectly then he may do so in the exceptional circumstances such as employee accepts bribe outside his office in connection with his office work or discloses secretes of his office to any person outside his office or is involved in such matters then the act of the employer is purely justified and legal.

Are You a victim?? or being Manager , u want to shadow your employee??

If you are Manager, and ur employer want to shadow you, the answer is YES.
Your Employer has every right to know your activity, if he suspects that you are passing on Company Secret or having Relationship with Co. Competitors.

Managers are employer for 24/7, all 24 hrs.

I recommend CEO, Top Management to keep a track of Manager Activity, or else Company may loose beyond Control.

HERE I POINT OUT THIS FACT: IT MAY INTEREST ALL:{This is imaginary ??}

METAL BOX is well known leaders in Prt M/c, Metal boxes for pkg, and a Leading Gr A Company before 25 years. Continuously paying Good Dividend.

As Ball Bearing is 700 % Profit business, They decided to start it.
They invested app 26 Cr before 25 yrs , started Ball bearing factory.
They {MB}Employed 3 Top Managers of leading SKF Company, leaders in ball bearings mfg & Mkt , in India.

These Three controlled Quality, Engineering, & Mkt.

The Company could not sell, and duped to huge Loss within a year.

A Private Invigilators Agency engaged by to find out the cause, of loss of 50cr , revealed that these Three were living in much higher standard compared to their earning, and are Ring Leader to finish Metal Box Ball Bearing Unit.

They also found that intentionally, and deliberately, very bad quality of Ball Bearings were manufactured and marketed to avoid it's penetration in Indian Mkt.

Metal Box sacked them out.

All Three joined SKF next day.

When asked, the three Relied" WE ARE PROFESSIONAL MANAGERS. . We had ready & blank dated Appointment Letters of SKF, the day we joined Metal Box, and also paid our Two Years salary in Advance to do this job of finishing MB.
We are faithful to our SKF Co, and Metal Box was fool to employ us.

We performed our Duty.

AS ON TODAY, METAL BOX COULD NOT PAY DIVIDEND TO ANY OF IT'S SHARE HOLDERS, for last 25 years, MAKING ONLY LOSS, AND THOUSANDS OF EMPLOYEE LOST THEIR JOB, THOUSANDS OF SHARE HOLDERS LOST THEIR WELL INVESTED MONEY,

I am not selling my shares of Metal Box because i know, metal box factory in Worli, Mumbai has huge plot of land near TV tower, and will fetch 1000 cr, when sold.

I VERIFIED THREE MGR IN THE ANNUAL REPORTS OF BOTH METAL BOX AND SKF, Confirming the fact, of their employment dates, as well as this Loss.

This is a fraud on lack of investigation on the part of HR, Personnel Dept of mnc Metal Box of India.

This can be hearsay, but, if possible, Tell me, Should Top Management keep an eye on it's Imp Mgm Staff or not??

Forget about factory workmen & clerical staff. They can’t affect much, except formulae, Process secret, Supply Chain, marketing outlet, Commissions etc.

Management Staff is 24/7 duty bound, and if under surveillance of Top Management, in the interest of the Company, there is nothing wrong.

Don't you take care of your home servant's activity,. Can't she add poison to your food?? Can't she mix up with goondas to kill you and take away your jewelery and cash ?? Is it uncommon?? Don't you keep watch on their personal life?? Because your life is at risk, if u don't do it. Similarly The Existence of Corporate Sector is at risk.

Smt. INDIRA GANDHI [Ex- Prime Minister of India] would not have been murdered, if Government of India was vigilant to know activity of Security guards,.

Should we not keep close watch on our Employee, who can harm us?
