Legal aid for victimized senior citizen

Is there any legal aid for a victimized Senior Citizen both by the offending parties and the consumer (highest) court, when the person is not capable of paying fee- the matter is for an appeal in Supreme Court and also fresh complaint before Supreme Court?

The Supreme court does not have any original jurisdiction in consumer forum matters.

The issue of court fees can be dealt with proving indigence. Senior citizenship can not be a ground for non payment of court fees.

Such person should apply to the Legal Services Authority for the assistance in the matter of free legal aid which is available to such senior citizens.

contact you taluk legal aid service committee. They help you solve out. it will be in court premises in you district or taluk.
