The married daughter has equal share in the ancestral property of her father and her status in the house of her husband is also secured similarly.

she has got equal rights inview of amendment to hindu succession act.
During the life time of the husband she cannot claim any share in the husband's property, but if there is any partition between father and sons/daughters takes place one share has to be given to wife

Post 2005 amendment the status of a married daughter in her father's ancestral property is that she is treated as a co-parcener (subject to certain conditions), however, in her matrimonial house she is traeted as a member and not as a co-parcener of her Husband's HUF. In event of partition of the Husband's HUF she has one share in such property.
