hi,
we have few properties which we are palnning to let out ,kindly explain the diff between registered rental deed and unregistered rental deed with respect to any dispute and the rights if it is registered and comparision between both types of deed thanks

registration is advisable if you are planning to give your premises on leave and licence . in mahrashtra it is mandatory requirement .
if it is registered it is admissible in evidence and in event of default you cna take eviction proceedings move court for recovery of your security deposits .

The agreeemnts which are not registered does not have value in the eyes of law.

if the lease period is more than one year then you are suppose to go for registered lease deed.
otherwise also registration provides more authentication and valuable evidence.

With respect to any dispute and the rights if it is registered ,it is more authentic and courts would be found inclined to believe that in comparison to oral or unregistered.Otherwise lease deeds above 365
days are required to be registered as of legal necessity.
