A V Vishal (Expert) 22 June 2012
Judicial immunity protects judges from liability for monetary damages in civil court, for acts they perform pursuant to their judicial function. A judge generally has Immunity from civil damages if he or she had jurisdiction over the subject matter in issue. This means that a judge has immunity for acts relating to cases before the court, but not for acts relating to cases beyond the court's reach
A V Vishal (Expert) 22 June 2012
You can appeal in higher court against the impugned order.
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 22 June 2012
The relief lies before the high court by challenging the order by which you are aggrieved.
The Judge by passing an order is only discharging his official function which is likely to please one party and dishearten another.
adv. rajeev ( rajoo ) (Expert) 23 June 2012
If you are not satisfied with the order of the dist., judge, you will have to challenge it in the high court.
Rajeev Kumar (Expert) 23 June 2012
