judicial process takes time . DV cases take 3 years . 498A cases also take time . depends upon pendency of court cases in your city . you need patience as wheels of justice move slowly

DV case is a speedy case providing maintenance, right to residence, protection order and even restriction to husband to sale off his properties but this is civil case in nature whereas the criminal under section 498A is for punishment to the accused person for the crime mentioned in FIR or criminal complaint filed under this section.
