Sir,
A 498a and DV cases are pending in courts.
a) I have an offer to join a new job. As part of Background & employment history, new company is asking 'Declaration of criminal offences'. I am worried that disclosing pending cases, the offer made to me may be withdrawn. pls advise
b) My passport is expired. The renewal form is asking information on any pending criminal cases. pls advise.

U have to disclose about pending cases , the chances of loosing job or renewal of passport will not affect in any way , since it is personal offense afterall they may verify any conditions has been imposed by court for granting bail

Suppression of pendancy of the criminal cases shall definitely prove a fatal for you in your life so better to provide true picture so that the relevant authorities may decide their course if action accordingly. Untill a person is convicted, he is deemed as innocent.
