Sir,
We purchased a property from the previous owner, who was the first owner. This first person purchased it from a housing co-operative society. The possession certificate for the first owner has all the boundaries of the property mentioned correctly. Whereas the sale deed for the first owner and our sale deed has the north boundary mentioned incorrectly. Now, we want to do a rectification deed. Can you please let us know how the procedure for doing the rectification deed? What will be the cost to do the rectification deed. Please help me. This property is in Bangalore
Thanks
Lakshmi

Devajyoti Sir,
I searched the forum to find the answer, but couldnt find the exact details of what is the procedure we need to follow. Since we do not know Kannada, it is getting very difficult to converse with local authorities in the registrar office. Can you please let me know the procedure. Thanks

Why do not you engage an advocate?
It requires professional expertise.

The procedure in such matters is very easy. The buyer and seller both shall have to come present before the registrar after duly executing the Rectification Deed mentioning therein entire facts leading to correction and shall have to get the same registered providing the previuos sale deed details thereto.
