IF YOUR APPOINTMENT LETTER Mentioned the post of "probationary assistant manage" without mentioning the field is marketing or other activities, you have to prove that they offered you diff job.

So your statement nowhere disclose any cheating

lakshmi kanth (Querist) 20 March 2013

and my friend same situation working from 8 months
because of bond we cant do anything :(

You both can file a suit against the bank to provide you the duties as undertaken in your appointment letter which is required to be in consonance with their advertisement.
Anirudh (Expert) 24 March 2013
Duties and responsibilities will never be indicated in the advertisement. It is only the nomenclature of the post that will be indicated.
As per the advertisement, they have posted the querist as Probationary Assistant Manager. The querist is also being paid Rs. 35K per month as promised. Whether the job content what the querist anticipated/expected met with or is not is altogether a different question.
Yes, anybody can approach court. But, what is the chances of success is the question.
I don't think the querist has any chance in succeeding before a court of law.
