'A' person filed a complaint in the police station U/s 420.the police issued a FIR. the case will be contested by the PP.Now 'A' wants to appoint a private lawyer to lead the case as PP is in favor of the accused.from whom or where 'A' has to get permission for the same.advice in this regard.

no need for pvt advocate for 420 case, once FIR filed than the PP will take care of the case, same time you are not believe that PP you can join the as Assist the Prosecution.

Private Counsel is not required. PP is able to contest in ur case.

If complainant wants to engage a private lawyer for dealing better to his case, he need not to obtain permission from anyone. However, such lawyer shall work assisting to PP. Practically, such private lawyers do contest such cases, if engaged by complainant.

Dear pushpakrishna,
I agree with Mr. Makkad you can get a private lawyer appointed but he will be working as an assistant to the pp. If you are suspicious. In the manner the investigation or prosecution is been conducted by pp or IO and you have evidence to this effect you can bring this to the notice of the magistrate who if he considers ok can seek the matter to another court where there is another PP or probably a change of PP.
