I lived with my wife in Haryana for 1 year and for past 3 years we are separated.My wife filed for divorce and maintenance in Mumbai at her parents` place.Maintenance decided at 10000 rupees which am paying regularly.Wife cross over in 3 sittings.My cross happened 6 times and lawyer and wife giving excuse for not finishing it and dragging it.I have to take three days off work everytime and now my manager asks me to take 6 months unpaid leave to finish case.Can I refuse to attend cross further?Will it affect my case?

no need to refuse to attend cross, you should approached to court for completion of your cross within a specific time limit

You can only request the court to finish it at the earliest. Court will try to finish it at the earliest. Time limit cannot be fixed exactly.

Why are attending the court every date. Your physical presence is not required on every date.
