This is nothing but an activity of the RDO to wreak vengeance for your acts against her through court, besides contesting the case, you may appeal to the CM's Special cell with a request to redress your grievances caused by the RDO's action through police, you will get a reply, in the meantime do not give up the contempt case against the erring RDO.

you have to file CP. Otherwise cancellation of caste certificate is there and your mother can be thrown out of service.

The RDO should have filed his reprentations and claims if any in court and not to police at this stage.The sections mentioned are definitely non bailable and letting your mother in police station it self proves that police were aware that they are at fault.You strongly proceed with your contempt of court and also file a seperate case and complaint against RDO and police under SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Act 1989.Consult your Lawyer.You Could also seek the help and supports of strong SC/ST welfare organisations

It would be a better course to file a Writ of Habeas Corpus.

Habeas Corpus is a writ requiring a person under arrest to be brought before a judge or in to court especially to seek the person's release unless lawful grounds are shown for detention. In this case there is no detention and the person had been let out.

Yes there is no need to file a HCP in this case. It is a clear case of taking revenge by the stupid and erring egotist RDO for covering up her own mistakes, a contempt petition will make the RDO alright.

Thanks to all. Sir i am having one doubt:
1. Whether RDO has a right to use the photocopy of the caste certificate for verification and send it to forgery department.
2. How can we believe the xerox machine and also some ink may splatter.

You mean to say forensic department.What the Forensic dept is expected to do with photostat copy by the RDO

But I suspect that RDO sent the photocopies of certificate to forensic department and I think that they created a report too and so only they filed case...;
But how could they compare or verify a photocopy. Everything must be done with original only know sir.
Please give us guidance

You explain all this to your advocate and he would handle.Relax You please dont under estimate Forensic Dept.It is the Only Department YET to be corrupted.I believe so.
