Hello sir,
i need your help as in my last post i've asked for the procedure of court marriage and you all expert suggest me for the 30 days notice period registration before marriage..
i have registered in SDM office and my 30 days notice period is completed on this 26.03.2014 but unfortunately SDM official staff will not be available in office due to DELHI election on 10.04.2014 so they have paste on notice board that all the marriage related work will be done after 20.04.2014.
but i want to do marriage on 04.04.2014 so can i do Arya Samaj Mandir marriage as my fiance is SIKH and if her parents lodge an FIR so will police take any action against us if we show them araya samaj's marriage certificate.
i will register my marriage in court afterward when SDM office will re-open for work..
please help me.

you can have arya samaj marriage in delhi if you so desire . visit local arya samj for formailties required to be fulfilled in this regard . you would basically need identity proof of both the parties . both should be adults . police wont take any action if valid marriage has been performed
it is better to get married after obtaining consent of parents .

Thank you Mr. Ajay Sethi...
yes we both are adult and fulfill all the required detail according to hindu marriage act.. as i've already register in SDM court for the marriage but they are delaying for around 1 month thats why i want to do arya smaj mandir's marriage..
i was just worried for the police that will they take any action against us and araya smaj mandir's certificate is having the value to reject the FIR (if her parents do)

Sikh is very much part of Hindu as far as matrimonial law is concerned. Arya Samaj Marriage is valid.
