Consumer case

Hi,
I am thilagavathi.S
I am from chennai,
recently I went to US along with my family. While returning from san francisco to Chennai, the united airline flight was 1 hour delay. So i missed the connecting flight from frankfurt.

i was offered a flight to delhi from frankfurt and from there to chennai.
I reached Delhi in 8 hours. But from there also the flight to chennai was delayed for 4 hours. So i was forced to wait for 10 hours in the airport with my family. Sister was sick. 2 children suffered a lot.

I was supposed to reach chennai by 11.30pm in the previous day. But we reached 1 Pm in the next day.
almost 36 hours travelled.

because of one hour delay by the first flight, we suffered a lot.

I want to file a case against the united airline. kindly suggest me the way and the procedure involved in it.

As per Conditions of Carriage of American Airlines you can not Sue them in any manner.If at all you want you could send them a polite letter/mail explaining the difficulties you had under gone.It is up to them to consider the same.

But its a consumer issue. Why can't we sue them for their improper consumer service...?
