Rs 42000 as pagri?
even if invested in FD @8.5%p.a., it will fetch less than Rs 300 p.m. to land lord. plus you are also giving Rs 100. That comes out to Rs 16 per day out of 25 working days of month.
The shop is source of livelihood for two families. Are you earning jut 200-300 per day from this shop in Chandni chowk.

fight the case on merit.
If you could disprove his claim for bona fide need, then no decree would be passed against you.

the fact that landlord has 10 other shops should help you in fighting your case . no case of bonafide need would be made out

Better consult a local lawyer and give a suitable reply, gather all the other shop owners on your side and arrive at a joint decision to tackle the issue.
