regading cheque case

dear sir
i have some dealing with a company . dealing start in 2003 with that company. in 2005 i give some blank cheque to company as a secuity cheque but my account closed on july 2008. i intemated that company i closed that account do not use any cheque of that account. but the company present a cheque in bank.cheque is disdear sir

how i know that company file any cirminal or civil case aganist me . tii date not recived any sammon from court.

if u have not receive the summons and u know that u r at fault then u have two ways either u wait for the summons or try to approch the concerned copany for settlement.

If you have intimated that company that you've closed that account & not to use the cheques of that account then keep the proofs of that letter with you. If the that company wants to proceed against you u/s. 138 NI they'll issue you a notice before filing the complaint.

You dont have to worry because you have eased your burden by intimating the closure of your account. Thats nice. You have good defense if the company filed a case against you.

you can say to company all matter & sand a apolige letter give reference of previous letters when you give account closing information

Need not worry,if that company presented any cheque the same have bounced, that company will issue legal notice of 15 days as per NI Act.
